Sudar Blogs: My Certification Experiences

A record of my experiences with certifications. Starting with BrainBench, moving on to Microsoft (MCP, MCDBA, MCAD) and … surely one day with Sun (SCJP), together with things I come across my day to day life.

Preparation for 70-320

Even thought work is taking most of my time, I have learned a lot of new things about web services, remote scripting, SOAP etc in the last two weeks. Thanks to my preparation for 70-320. I am currently using Microsoft Self-Paced Kit for my preparation towards 70-320. I am also reading lot of articles from MSDN Webservice Home and from Tim’s Site. My work pressure is forcing me to make this entry a short one. I will post more links once I find time.

The 70-320 seems like it's tougher than it really is. I just passed it today with a 904 using the MS press self-paced book and the selftest.com sample quetions. I studied for 1 week (full time because I am currently unemployed). I was hoping to just barely pass with a 700 and I was very surprised by my score. You can do it! You might already be ready for it. I like the MS 2nd shot deal becuase it allows you to take a chance with it and if you fail you can go back and study some more.

I also passed the 70-316 2 weeks ago with a 920. I just need the 70-315 for my MCAD and then I am continuing on to get my MCSD.

    Good luck!
